Volunteering at Love INC

We are currently seeking the following volunteers:

• Phone Screeners:  People who can volunteer one day each week for a 3-hour shift, Monday through Friday … either 9:30 - 12:30 or 12:30 - 3:30. These people screen the client requests for legitimacy, to ensure the need is specific and manageable. We will train to make calls to various places to ensure the needs are legitimate and then use our resource book to determine the nearest agency or church that will be able to help with the need.
• Church Ministry Coordinators:  People who are willing to organize their church’s resources and work with our network to help people in need. Training is also provided.
• A Coordinator for our “Sound Off for Poverty” program with youth groups.
• Office Help:  People to help with data processing. We were just given the gift of two new databases and need many people to help entering client and resource information into the new database.
• Want to be a part of the  “Caring Card Ministry” and make cards that we can send out to clients? Thinking of you Cards, Get Well cards and sympathy cards that can send a scripture or encourage someone going through a tought time.
