January 22nd Love INC will be holding our annual fundraiser dinner at the Western Washington Fairgrounds.  The theme is “Reflecting Christ’s Glory”. It is a very crucial event for us and we are going to fill 60 tables with people from our partnering churches who are interested in supporting the ministry financially for 2010, or getting more involved in helping us help those in need.  If you are interested in coming you must RSVP to Sherry Phinisey at sherry.phinisey@loveincpiercecounty.org  by January 18th. Praise God tables are filling fast! It’s another example of our movements of God that even in the worst economy God’s people are rallying together to make a kingdom difference! We are so blessed to be a part of this.

How does a Cross and a Heart Planted in Pierce County grow Love throughout our community?

Every day hundreds of people in need across our county cry out to God for help. When the Body of Christ works together, pooling its resources and talents, it brings hope and answered prayers for people in need.

The mission of Love in the Name of Christ is to mobilize the Church to transform lives and communities in the Name of Christ. Our Love INC network consists of 191 churches in Pierce County.

October 7th, 2009 we are planning our first annual fundraiser breakfast and the goal is to raise $10,000 which will provide support for building our capacity to grow and help more people. The breakfast will be held at Bethany Baptist Church in Puyallup.

You can help nourish what God has planted in Pierce County. We would like to ask you to consider a partnership of one of the following: $500 for the event Sponsorship or $200 for a Table Sponsorship. Our sponsors will be recognized at the breakfast and will be listed on our website and in our monthly newsletter!

Please respond by September 1st, 2009 if you are able to partner with us and support this function. With the economy as it is we have to have multiple fundraisers to be able to meet our expenses to help the increasing number of people being referred to us for help.

Love INC night at the Rainiers will be August 14th. Tickets are $15.00 each and include a hot dog, drink and chips. Tickets are on sale now! Please consider getting a group from your church to come out to support Love INC and the Rainiers and have fun doing it!  Ask your church to put it in the church bulletin!
